Arena Spectacular - Local Heroes

The North Coast National celebrates 125 years in 2010 with its most ambitious program of events and activities ever - including a specially produced Arena Spectacular that will be a major tribute to our region's 'local heroes'. Northern Rivers Regional Food Celebration

Northern Rivers Regional Food Celebration, supported by the Australian Macadamia Society & Regional Development Australia, will highlight local produce and regional cuisine and the northern rivers region as a 'must visit' foodie destination. There will be demonstrations from guest celebrity chefs, including local chefs from some of the region's highly regarded restaurants, a schools' cooking competition, food and produce trade stalls and a food tasting marquee. The Sustainable Living Expo

The Sustainable Living Expo, now in its third year, includes a new Natural Resources Expo, highlighting the region's growing importance as a centre for innovation in sustainable living practices.

APRA Full Rodeo

The 125th anniversary North Coast National will host an APRA Full Rodeo. Competitors at this major event will score points towards competition entry in the Australian Professional Rodeo Association finals at the Gold Coast Convention Centre in 2011. Entertainment Precinct A new entertainment precinct will offer an endless variety of fun for all ages, including a Battle of the Bands, the Bachelor competition, an animal nursery and snake handling display, the Bobcat Competition, the Cock & Bull Tent, street performers, a circus tent and much, much more.
